These maple bacon brussel sprouts are absolutely delicious! The little mini cabbages roasted with all the savory flavors of bacon and then the sweetness of slightly caramelized maple syrup. A beautiful side dish to complement any meal.
All it takes to make this dish is:
- brussel sprouts
- bacon
- maple syrup
- olive oil
- salt
- pepper
- garlic powder
I prepare the brussel sprouts by cutting off the bottom, discarding any loose leaves, and cutting them in half. Then I wash them and let them drain before spreading them on an aluminum foil or parchment paper lined sheet.
Drizzle with olive oil and season generously with salt, pepper, and garlic powder. Spread the chopped bacon pieces evenly over the top. You can either drizzle the maple syrup on now or wait and do it for the last little bit of baking.
Bake at 425 degrees for about 20 minutes or until sprouts are soft and slightly crispy and nice and brown. These reheat well the next day. I love leftovers!
I bake my maple bacon brussel sprouts on a half sheet pan. I have five of these pans and I use them all the time for so many different things. So handy and a worthy investment for your kitchen. You can find them on Amazon and often they are on sale. 😊
