Cabbage Goulash
A hearty ground beef and cabbage dish that will fill everyone up. It’s a quick meal and delicious served with bread.
Cabbage Goulash
Ingredients
- 2 lbs ground beef
- 1 large onion chopped
- 1 – 28 oz can diced tomatoes
- 1 – 6 oz can tomato paste
- 1 cup water
- 2 tbsp vinegar
- 1 tbsp chili powder
- 1 tsp garlic powder
- 1/4 tsp cayenne pepper optional
- 10 cups shredded cabbage about one head
Instructions
- In a large kettle, brown beef and onion. Drain off excess grease. Add remaining ingredients except cabbage and mix well. Stir in cabbage and simmer for about 15 minutes or until cabbage is tender. Serve with crusty bread!
