<p>They are really easy to make. The biggest thing you’ll need is the plastic freezer popsicle molds. I get them on Amazon. The kids are always using napkins to hold their popsicles because their hands get cold and I found these cute little sleeve holders for them and they work great. I’ll share both links below: </p>

<p>You can use any fruit that sounds good! Strawberries, blueberries, watermelon, raspberries, mango, cantaloupe. Just get creative! You can even mix and match flavors.<br />
The popsicles take 12-24 hours to freeze properly. My kids love them! </p>

<p>This delicious snow cream made from freshly fallen snow and a quick mixture of milk, sugar, and vanilla is such a fun treat on a snow day. The kids absolutely love it and I’ll be honest, I like it too! It reminds me of Bluebell’s homemade vanilla ice cream. </p>

Snow cream only takes five ingredients to make! Clean snow, milk, sugar or maple syrup, vanilla extract, and a dash of salt to bring out the flavor. </p>

<p>The first thing you do is send your kids outside to find some clean snow. Emphasis on clean! No yellow snow, kids. Haha!<br />
I know that some people worry about snow being full of chemicals and dirt and all that junk but I just don’t worry about that. Welcome to my philosophy on pretty much everything in life: “no worries!” Life’s an adventure, get out there and enjoy it! </p>
<p><img data-recalc-dims="1" loading="lazy" decoding="async" data-attachment-id="3370" data-permalink="https://myeverydayordinarylife.com/snow-cream/img_2829/" data-orig-file="https://i0.wp.com/myeverydayordinarylife.com/wp-content/uploads/2025/01/IMG_2829.jpeg?fit=360%2C640&ssl=1" data-orig-size="360,640" data-comments-opened="0" data-image-meta="{&quot;aperture&quot;:&quot;1.78&quot;,&quot;credit&quot;:&quot;&quot;,&quot;camera&quot;:&quot;iPhone 15 Pro Max&quot;,&quot;caption&quot;:&quot;&quot;,&quot;created_timestamp&quot;:&quot;1737198627&quot;,&quot;copyright&quot;:&quot;&quot;,&quot;focal_length&quot;:&quot;6.7649998656528&quot;,&quot;iso&quot;:&quot;80&quot;,&quot;shutter_speed&quot;:&quot;0.00020798668885191&quot;,&quot;title&quot;:&quot;&quot;,&quot;orientation&quot;:&quot;1&quot;}" data-image-title="IMG_2829" data-image-description="" data-image-caption="" data-large-file="https://i0.wp.com/myeverydayordinarylife.com/wp-content/uploads/2025/01/IMG_2829.jpeg?fit=360%2C640&ssl=1" class="aligncenter size-medium wp-image-3370" src="https://i0.wp.com/myeverydayordinarylife.com/wp-content/uploads/2025/01/IMG_2829.jpeg?resize=169%2C300&ssl=1" alt="" width="169" height="300" srcset="https://i0.wp.com/myeverydayordinarylife.com/wp-content/uploads/2025/01/IMG_2829.jpeg?resize=169%2C300&ssl=1 169w, https://i0.wp.com/myeverydayordinarylife.com/wp-content/uploads/2025/01/IMG_2829.jpeg?w=360&ssl=1 360w" sizes="auto, (max-width: 169px) 100vw, 169px" /></p>
<p>Once the snow has been brought inside, it’s time to mix up this tasty treat. It’s really easy and only takes a couple minutes. In a large mixing bowl, whisk together the milk, sugar, vanilla extract, and dash of salt. Then you dump the clean snow into the bowl and stir until thoroughly mixed and the snow is completely saturated with the milk mixture. </p>

This is where you can taste it and decide if you want to add more snow or not. I usually do because I like the flavor and texture of more snow but it’s totally personal preference. </p>

<p>Once it’s mixed up, it’s time to serve this tasty treat! It’s very nice and scoopable and packs well. We eat it with a spoon. <br />
We have never tried to save any for later so I don’t know for sure but I don’t feel like it would store well. If you put it in the fridge it would simply melt and if you put it in the freezer it would turn to ice. </p>
