People tend to either love or hate meatloaf. I’ve had so many people who thought they hated meatloaf absolutely love this recipe. It’s a winner every time! I usually serve it with mashed potatoes and veggies. A hearty home cooked meal.

Meatloaf, mashed potatoes, and veggies on the table

This meatloaf is fancy enough to serve visitors and also down-home enough to make for a weeknight with the family. It’s just as delicious as leftovers and my hubby thinks he hit the jackpot if there’s enough left to pack in his lunchbox the next day.

I got the inspiration for this recipe from Paula Deen. She’s the queen of home cooking and one of my hero’s.

Happy feasting!
