Method
- Combine the mayonnaise, sugar, milk, buttermilk, lemon juice, vinegar, salt and pepper in a large bowl. Whisk until smooth.
- Add the cabbage, carrots, and onion and stir to combine.
- You can serve it right away but I highly recommend covering and refrigerating for at least two hours before serving. The rest time gives the ingredients time to marinate and increases the flavor.
Notes
You can substitute the cabbage and carrots for two 16 oz bags tricolor coleslaw mix if desired.
