  • 1 cup creamy peanut butter
  • 3/4 cup salted butter
  • 2 eggs
  • 2 tsp vanilla extract
  • 1/2 tsp salt
  • 1 tsp baking powder
  • 1 1/2 tsp baking soda
  • 2 1/2 cups all-purpose flour

Method

  1. Preheat the oven to 350 degrees.
  2. In the bowl of a mixer, cream together the white and brown sugars, peanut butter, and butter until nice and fluffy.
  3. Add eggs and vanilla and mix. Add remaining ingredients and mix well.
  4. Using your hands, roll the dough into one inch balls or just scoop dough onto cookie sheet with a cookie scoop. Press flat with palm of hand. Make a criss-cross pattern on top of each cookie with a fork.
  5. Bake at 350 degrees for 12 minutes or until very lightly browned. They will still be soft in the middle but harden as they cool.
