Sally Ann Cookies

These yummy cookies a mix between a cookie and biscotti. With chopped pecans and a slight cinnamon flavor, they are perfect for dipping in your favorite hot drink and a lovely addition to your Christmas cookie tray.

Ingredients
  

  • 1 cup white sugar
  • 1 cup brown sugar
  • 1 1/2 cups butter softened
  • 3 eggs beaten
  • 1 tsp baking soda
  • 1 tsp baking powder
  • 2 tsp cinnamon
  • 4 1/2 cups flour
  • 1 cup pecans chopped

Method
 

  1. Cream together sugar and butter. Add eggs and beat. Add the rest of the ingredients and mix well.
  2. Form into a flat rectangle log on a wax paper lined baking sheet. Cover with plastic wrap and refrigerate overnight.
  3. In the morning slice thin and bake for 10-12 minutes in a 350 degree oven.
