Banana Bread Cake is your classic warm and cozy banana bread with chocolate chips and a hint of cinnamon but baked in cake form! It bakes faster and is so easy to serve.

This recipe is a great way to use up bananas that are overripe and rotting on your counter. It seems we always have some of those bananas laying around. My daughters love to tease me and dramatically open the trashcan and pitch the old bananas in while saying “YOU’RE NOT GOING TO BAKE THE BREAD, MOM!” Hahaha! They’re right more often than not. But everybody sure does love it when somebody gathers the mental fortitude to actually bake the bread instead of pitching the bananas. It’s such a yummy cake! I hope y’all love it.
